Hi there. This is a stoneware hare hand sculpted and fired to 1100Deg C
Then carefully selected Queen Elizabeth 11 stamps are applied.
The stamps are the genuine article not printed and are circa 1952.
These stamps were used as they were a natural brown colour.
During 1952 there were several print runs of these stamps some were darker than others. The darker stamps have been used to accent the natural bib markings on a hare.
From a few feet way the hare looks like a natural solid colour.
On closer inspection the stamps can clearly be made out.

This is a one off piece and has over 600 pounds worth of stamps decorating it.
